It’s a tight race! 50 members have voted so far, and some of the positions are very tightly contested. If ever you wanted your one vote to make a difference, now is that time! SCASLA Elections this year consist of two short survey questions on the linked survey below. MEMBERS, please take two minutes to select your chapter’s leadership by going to the survey link in yesterday’s email blast. Friday, August 18, is the last day to vote.

Natasha Sexton – Treasurer nominee
Natasha is the Principal for SGA Architecture Greenville office, and has served as SCASLA Treasurer for the past three+ years. She also organizes sponsorship, and brings a big picture vision to club day-to-day activities. She is an active member of the Greenville community and is a member of many committees and organizations including: SCASLA, ULI, CREW, and the Greenville County Museum Commission. Natasha has over 15 years of experience as a landscape architect and a wide portfolio of project experience. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture.
Kristina Harvey – Executive Committee nominee
Kristina has served on the SCASLA committee for years as various ex-officio roles. This past year to stepped out by taking over Parking Day and PR duties, such as the Instagram take over. Kristina did an amazing job doing the SCASLA national Instagram take over this past April. She made our chapter look great on a national platform. Kristina consistently dedicates her time, creativity and energy to making the chapter an excellent and fun resource for members.
Olin Smith – Executive Committee nominee
Olin served on the membership committee for our chapter this year. He has a passion for the profession and chapter that is inspiring. Olin brings an interesting perspective to the committee because he is works for one of our sponsors. His insight into sponsor needs will help the chapter shape future events to strengthen these relationships.
Chris Haynes – Executive Committee nominee
With nearly 10 years of experience in planning and landscape architecture, Chris Haynes serves as a senior landscape architect in Davis & Floyd’s Charleston office. Chris holds two degrees – a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University. He is a registered Landscape Architect in South Carolina and North Carolina, an ISA Certified Arborist and a LEED Green Associate. Prior to working with Davis & Floyd, he served in municipal planning roles on both the federal and local levels and has also spent time in residential design and construction. Mr. Haynes is the recipient of individual industry awards and has been a member of several project teams receiving recognition on both the local and federal level. Additionally, he is a proud graduate of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston program.
