A Message from the President
Our state is getting rain, football is in full swing with some teams wining or winning, it is dark by 7:30 pm, and what does this all mean? It’s fall. October is here and this is it everyone. We are two weeks away now from our Annual meeting in Charleston. I just want to shout this out “we have a super program”!!!
We will have Mayor Joe Riley as keynote. Fellows of our state ASLA will reflect and share their experiences, tours, and Friday night, you guessed it, beer night.
The submitted projects have been juried for the awards. The awards will be given out Thursday evening October 15th. Please come and celebrate with us.
The meeting will be held again back to the Francis Marion. A tradition in Charleston for SC ASLA. We have thirty sponsors that we appreciate their support and seeing their products.
The “Parking Day” last week was a tremendous success with participation in Columbia, Charleston, Beaufort, and Greenville.
I hope to see all of our South Carolina members in Charleston for a meeting that will be one for us to remember.
Thank all of you for the Landscape Architectural work you do every day. You do make a difference.
